As part of our regular Health & Safety checks, we welcomed the local fire brigade into school to run checks on the site and to ensure our fire prevention and safety arrangements remain spot on.
The specialist team checked a wide range of items including fire alarms, electrical systems, radioactive materials, site access, evacuation and site staff availability.
Lisa Pratt, School Manager, said: “We are very systematic in running our checks, as with so many children on site, you can never be too careful. The fire brigade team were excellent and their guidance was invaluable. The visit runs alongside our regular visits by our Fire Prevention Officer.”
