Attendance at the Friary remains a key priority and this week will see students from across our Houses celebrating having attended 100% of the time or shown a significant improvement in their attendance this year.
Students enjoyed themselves with a freshly baked pain au chocolat alongside a hot chocolate to thank them for their continued effort and commitment to attending school.
One Y10 student said “I look forward to the attendance reward each term, it is nice to be rewarded for always attending school, each term has a different reward and so I’ll make sure I get the next one too!”
Richard Barnett-Richards, Assistant Headteacher, said: “It is a great opportunity to celebrate such a wonderful number of students having attended 100% of the time and see those students who have previously struggled to attend school making such a dramatic improvement. We endeavour to make sure as many students attend the school 100% of the time and rewarding the students plays a significant part in this. Well done to all involved and we look forward to rewarding more students through the year.”
