The Year 11s played their only league netball game of the year, against Nether Stowe.

The girls have been working hard at training, including individuals who are working towards GCSE assessment for their PE qualification and this has understandably taken precedent but this was a great chance to out the theory into practice.

Arriving with a few nerves the girls got going and worked well, when in possession of the ball and worked it nicely up the court with help from all players.

Goals went back and forth throughout the match ended and it finished 10-10.

Hollie Wright, PE teacher and team coach, said: “Katie Newton led from the top – continually motivating the team – and the draw still left the team with heaps of well-deserved confidence and a re-match has already been organised for the new year.”

KS4 Netball practise is every Wednesday 2nd lunch in the Sports Hall, all welcome.
