We’d encourage all Friary families to visit the popular Christmas Tree Festival at Lichfield Cathedral which runs between Saturday 27 November to Sunday 2 January.

Each year our school enters and decorates a Christmas Tree to this event which raises funds for our city’s cathedral.

All in all the cathedral will be decked with 45 Christmas trees with local organisations sponsoring and decorating them and visitors get the chance to vote for their favourite.

The Friary tree has individually hand-decorated baubles which represent ‘snowballs of kindness’.

Lottie Hearn, Deputy Headteacher, said: “We enjoy supporting this wonderful event each Christmas and it is great to walk around the cathedral checking out all of thew trees. We are really pleased with ours and are sure our students will secure plenty of votes.”
