We are delighted to report that Maisie Botfield (7S1) has been offered a place on flute in the National Children’s Orchestra Projects programme in 2023.
There are four project ensembles that meet for 2 weekends of music making and Maisie will be playing with the Midlands ensemble in Birmingham.
Maisie also participated in 2022 and had the opportunity to work with guest artists and conductors.
Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “We had already marked Maisie out as a huge musical talent but were thrilled to learn she was picked up for this wonderful, national project. She is a real talent in school and obviously a real one out of school too!”
