Our U13 Girls football team played Chase Terrace and mange t0 score a 4-0 victory – an even more impressive result after a late injury meant we played the fixture one player down.
The girls scored two goals each half and managed to keep going when a lesser team may have struggled for fitness with the reduced team numbers.
The Friary goalkeeper, Ella Butler (Y7) had a superb game to keep the clean sheet. Aimee Irvine scored an excellent hat-trick and Grogan Crawford rounded off the scoring.
Trudi Simkiss, PE teacher and team coach, said: “An amazing result and fantastic play from the whole team against all the odds. A massive well done to everyone.”
