We’re delighted to be able to flag up the fantastic venture that has popped up in Fradley which sees a pop-up pub appear in Fradley village each season.

About 3 years ago, 4 friends from Fradley – who are all Friary parents – decided to bring a pop-up pub to the village to get the community together and to raise money for worthy charities.

Initially, they raised money for the Pathways Project in Lichfield, and after a huge successful opening night, even COVID couldn’t dampen the thirst for a repeat. Subsequent events have proved great fun and they have supported appeals for causes as close as local primary schools and as far as Ukraine.

The Friary-sponsoring pop-up promises beer, gin, fizz and fun for over-21s at the Fradley Village Hall on Friday 11 November between 7.00-11.00pm.

Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “We have so many fantastic children from Fradley, and we know so many families who contribute greatly to making our school successful, so there’ll be plenty of friendly faces around. These sort of pop-up events are always imaginative, they’re great fun, and if you are looking for a good night out we’d recommend this pop-up 100%.”
