The journey to Chase Terrace consisted of running through the rules and making sure everyone was happy and comfortable with game play.
We played quarters of 7 minutes to allow the girls chance to swap positions and gain feedback. It was very much a focus on learning the game, positions and developing an awareness of individual strengths and weaknesses.
The game started with Chase Terrace in control of the match, but by half-time we started to gain confidence, work as a team and play started to flow, including chances on goal. Unfortunately Chase Terrace scored too many for us to catch in the second half of the game, however the girls loved the experience and left with lots of knowledge. Many more games to come and practice continues Thursdays after school next term.
