Our Year 10 Partnership Evening welcomed in parents to review the next two years for their child as they begin their formal GCSE and vocational qualifications in the run up to Summer 2024.

This event saw a presentation by the Headteacher – outlining key information and thinking around the next two years.

Following this, parents had an option of two rotated sessions on specific topics which included ‘Making Progress in English & Maths’, ‘Vocational Subjects’ and ‘Building a WOW on the CV’.

Furthermore, Ask Apprenticeships joined us to map out post-16 and post-18 apprenticeships which are a strong message within our careers’ guidance offer.

Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “It is no surprise to see the children’s whose parents make these evenings usually performing very well in their final exam. The partnership between home and school is integral to supporting children in succeeding in their exam subjects and being able to map out the journey over the next two years means the dialogue and requirements needed each step of the way is well set up.
