Our popular Inflatables Rewards day was staged to celebrate this year’s winner of the House Cup – Darwin House – as well as other students who stood out House point wise across the school.

The massive inflatables fill a good portion of our field and a series of individual and team challenges – also mixing in bouncing, bubbles and more – are held throughout the day.

The award are allocated to most of Darwin House, and then the those students with the highest House point scores from the other 3 Houses in each Year group.

Stacey Walsh, Assistant Headteacher, said: “This is a fantastic event and the healthy House competition we encourage through the year needs a celebration and incentive like this. This is part of our focus this year to bring the fun into life after the COVID lockdowns and today’s smiles suggest we’re getting there.”

Matt Allman, Headteacher, added: “There were some amazing children who missed out, but we know they’ll have usually been picked up through early rewards events, or will be with the dodgems on Monday.  Other Houses have won either trophies – such as the Sports and Debating – so there are lots of reasons to celebrate.”
