We have recently gone through our termly Compass+ Review from the Careers & Enterprise Company and received high praise for the excellent standard of Careers Advice our schools offered. Indeed, our school ranked amongst the very best providers in the country.

Each school is assessed against The Gatsby Benchmarks – a national set of criteria to judge school’s careers provision – and scored to drive up standards.

The school’s Compass+ Review can be seen here.

Richard Barnett-Richards, Assistant Head and Careers Leader, said: “Although we are scoring well across all areas of the benchmarks we still look to further enhance our careers provision to provide the very best opportunities and guidance for all of our students”.

Matt Allman, Headteacher, added: “Parents who attended our Partnership Evenings will already have a recognition of the extensive work that goes on in looking to preparing our students for post-school life. Already, we are looking to develop our provision looking at voluntary placements overseas, international universities, and more besides. This all feeds into our overall curriculum provision – we seek to offer the very best for our students in every way and this ambition means there is always work to do and always an energy to keep things fresh.”
