Year 8 Basketball Success

Our Year 8 basketball team took part in their first tournament at Cheslyn Hay school and went into battle with four rival schools.

Jamie Sleigh, PE teacher and team coach, said: “Basketball club has seen over 30 students attending, all working on their skills in preparation for upcoming fixtures. They have shown a real passion for basketball. After half term it’s the turn of our Year 7 and Year 10 teams in their competitions. Once exams have finished (11^th March) in the sports hall, then our Basketball Club will return on Thursday evenings.”
