The Friary School PTFA is proud to announce the launch of our very first ‘live’ Comedy Night on Friday 6th May 2022 at 7.30pm.
This new event on the Friary School social calendar, will see us welcome four comedians sourced by comedy agency ‘Comedy 42’ and will include a range of stand-up styles from professional comedians who are frequently on ‘the circuit’. In short, you are guaranteed to have a good laugh!
Not only that, the PTFA bar and BBQ will be available throughout the night and between each act making sure that it will be a night out to remember. Friends and family are more than welcome to join you.
Tickets are priced at £10 each and are available now on Parent Pay. This event will be for over 18s only.
Our PTFA work hard throughout the year to bring you a range of different events that help to support your children in school. All funds raised by the PTFA are used to directly fund projects that impact on the day to day lives of pupils in school. This year we hope to use funds to help refurbish the theatre which is our main assembly hall as well as upgrade some of our outside social areas.

After the success of our annual Oktoberfest and Quiz Night it is great to be offering something different that gets parents involved with Friary School life. These events are the perfect opportunity to get to know other parents and meet some of our staff whilst at the same time supporting our school and pupils”
