With final exams coming up in many of the vocational courses, and Pre-Public Exams (Mocks 2) after February half-term, were are making sure our Year 11 students have a series of Saturday Schools designed to help them to perform at their best.
Of course, though it looks like exams will go ahead as normal, we cannot be 100% at this stage, so these earlier assessments will be crucial in forming any Teacher Assessed Grades (TAGs). It is vital every student puts their best foot forward and does the best they can – and this require shard work each and every day.

Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “We know that students and parents value these sessions and we are keen to ensure that every exam is passed first time so that it reduces the overload in the summer. The vocational exams will be crucial for students to bank qualifications before they face the main exam block. Likewise, revising now for Mocks, means more knowledge is retained and the summer is made a whole lot easier. We would recommend every student attend these Saturday School sessions.”
