As part of the Raising Aspirations Programme, a group of Year 11 students took part in the first of a series of careers workshops to support them with their post 16 options. These interactive workshops will continue to run throughout the year. The programme is delivered in partnership with Morrisons as part of IGD’s charitable Feeding Britain’s Future scheme. It brings professionals from the food and retail industry into schools to inspire the next generation and equip them with useful employability skills.

Faye Banks, Aspirations Mentor, said: ” The workshops are designed to provide our students with the opportunity to learn new skills, to develop their careers knowledge and to prepare for future workplace interviews. We are so grateful to Morrisons for organising this fantastic programme for our students.”
