Yesterday, 35 students from year 10 to 13 were very lucky to have the opportunity to learn about climate change measurements from four leading experts in this field.
The experts from the National Physical Laboratory, delivered a live assembly addressing causes, measurements and solutions to climate change. The students learned about the measurements these scientists make with instruments based all around the world and even on satellites.
It was extremely informative and I’m sure some of our students will have been inspired to pursue careers in this field to ensure a bright future for us all.
After the event, Eve Marquise, Year 11 said, “It was informative and gave a clear insight in to what is going on behind the scenes to combat climate change and what we can do to help.”
