Finally the Year 8s got their first chance to play netball against other schools due to COVID.

The match against King Edwards was welcomed as after their first practise sessions the girls were very excited to put their skills into practise.

The opposition was very strong and so this first match ended in defeat though Sasha Chambers was nominated as Player of the Match by the opposition.

Hollie Wright, PE Teacher and team coach, said: “We played really well, getting into space, looking for passing opportunities to get the ball down the court, and working the ball into the D. The girls were all very happy with their performance and enjoyed playing against another school. They’re already looking forward to the next math in a couple of weeks.”
