On Saturday 11 September, our Sixth Form Interact Club attended Lichfield’s ‘Cars in the Park’ event, to work alongside the Rotary Club.

Students worked fantastically with Rotary Club members Sam Ellicott and David Cooke, helping to run stalls and raise money for the local community.

The Friary’s Interact Club is supported by our local Rotary members, who meet with students every week to support Sixth Formers in the organisation of charity work throughout the year.

Sarah Phillips, Head of Sixth Form, said: ‘The day was a great success and it was a pleasure to see the students working so well alongside Sam and David. They are a real credit to both the school and the community, and their enthusiasm to engage in Lichfield’s events is brilliant to see!’
