Amidst our end of year House awards, a clutch of students received subject excellence awards.
Each subject was given the task to give one special student the accolade. Teachers were instructed to look out for creativity, enthusiasm, contributions, and students who set overall high standards.

PE – Abbie Pendlebury (Y10)
Physics – Matthew Allen (Y8)
Religious Education – William Whyte (Y9)
Elsewhere, Benji Birch (Y7) & Ollie Langham (Y7) received an ‘Excellent Citizenship’ Award for helping out a fellow student in difficulty outside of school.
Alex Britton, Head of Darwin House, said: “It was a privilege to be able to recognise these students with this award. It highlights the hard work and commitment these students have for their subjects and hopefully, it will give them the drive and determination to keep performing within the classroom.”
