As part of our work on English Tourism Week, we told you earlier in the year how our Year 8 students had produced leaflets and videos celebrating the tourism in our city.
Just as an update, we printed off 1,000 of one of the leaflets and have distributed them across the city to help promote local tourist attractions. They were placed in Dr Johnson’s Museum, the Erasmus Darwin Museum, The Hub in St Mary’s, Visit Lichfield in St Mary’s, The Kitchen Shop and Morrisons, as well as in our school reception.
The full leaflet can be viewed here.
Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “We are very conscious that the COVID pandemic has hit our local tourism sector hard and we wanted to do our bit by reminding local residents, who may be staying at home this year, that there is plenty to do on their doorstep.
