The following message comes from Owen Stothert, House Captain of Garrick House:

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well. We have been off school and working from home for over a month now and I hope that everyone is coping OK.

Working remotely is not what we are used to, but it is important that we all try to do our best by working hard and completing the work set. I find it easiest to try and follow my normal school routine when completing work and lessons. I think that it is reassuring to know that the teachers are there to support you if you have any queries or concerns. By keeping a routine, it means you can differentiate the school day from your own time so that you can still spend time with family and your friends virtually.

It can be tempting at the moment with the cold weather to stay indoors, however it is important to still go outside for exercise. You will feel much better for it.

I understand that some people will find lockdown difficult, which is to be expected as these are unprecedented times, but keep going as hopefully it won’t be too long before we are back in school.

We still have a lot to look forward to.
