We know many parents are very familiar with our Unifrog online careers platform because we can check who has logged on and used their school account – we are delighted to say we are now approaching 100 accessing the information.

Unifrog brings into one place every undergraduate university course, apprenticeship, and college course in the UK, as well as other opportunities, such as School Leaver Programmes, MOOCs and every college at Oxford and Cambridge. This makes it easy for students to compare and choose the best university courses, apprenticeships or further education courses for them.

All students have already been issued with a sign-up code, which is unique to their form group. They then login using their email address and password and they can do so from any computer, tablet or smartphone. We would encourage you to use the platform with your child so you can support them through the process of deciding their next step.

Of course, all parents have been signed up too – hence so many getting engaged in it – and for others thinking they must step up the form code you need is: friaryparents and you can sign up here: www.unifrog.org/code.

Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “When we see the list of parents who have signed up it is no surprise to see that they are all students making great progress and heading very much in the right direction. It is easier to focus on lessons in school when you have a real drive and ambition in where you want to head in the long-term and Unifrog gives all the details to get there. If any parents reading this hava not yet checked in, then we would very much advise them to do so.”
