Throughout the year, our Sixth Form Interact group works tirelessly to raise money for different charities in partnership with Lichfield St Chad Rotary.

The week beginning the 2nd November, marked World Interact Week. To celebrate this important event, this Christmas our school has been gathering goodies to fill Rotary Shoe Boxes to send to Eastern European families in need.

Some forms have collected so many items that they have managed to fill up to 6 shoe boxes! Each shoe box has gained valuable house points and we are very grateful to all parents and students who have generously donated. For many children, these boxes are likely to be the first, and maybe only, presents they will receive.

The Interact Club also support the Pathways Project and additional items that were unable to be included in the shoe box appeal were donated to this worthy cause.

Carrie Cain, Assistant Headteacher said: “I have been overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity displayed by students at this school during a time of hardship within our own community. It is so lovely to see families being so incredibly charitable to help those who are more in need.”
