Having extended the canteen this summer, we managed to retain the outdoor covering that had previously serviced the area.
Rather than disposing of it, we spotted the opportunity to re-locate it by the bus pick-up points and have now got a large bus shelter set up for the students as the winter weather draws in.
Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “Any building works during half-term are a challenge time-wise, and there is still work to do on flooring here, but we are delighted to have re-used the covering and as the grey skies roll in we know our students will be a whole lot drier on the school buses.”
