We are asking for all families to use the COVID time to have a good clear-out and to drop second-hand clothes into our school reception so that we can add them to our PTFA’s Bags 2 School Collection.
Bags 2 School is a company that specialises in the reuse and recycling of good quality second-hand clothing and we are taking donations from Monday 9 November to Wednesday 11 November.
This means we can get the clothes ready to be removed on Thursday 12 November at 9.00am.
All of the bags are weighed and our PTFA will receive a payment on the weight – so the more we collect the more funds we all raise.
Lottie Hearn, Assistant Headteacher, said: “Even in these difficult times, our PTFA remain active and are committed to continue to raise funds for our school. last year saw the canteen extension and we are looking at funding a similar extension next summer. With lockdown rules in this weekend we will be hoping families can use that time to have a good clear-out.”
