Global Handwashing Day is an international handwashing promotion campaign to motivate and mobilize people around the world to improve their handwashing habits and takes place on 15 October each year.
Of course, washing hands at critical points during the day and washing with soap are always important but this year we are in a whole different world if hand-washing amidst the COVID problems.
Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “We have bene promoting handwashing consistently throughout the COVID measures but it is well worth piggy-backing on this international message to have a fresh reminder. Hopefully, when COVID is all over, we can all retain the good habits we have got into.”
