One of the teaching unions has created a COVID tracker which is based on schools so you can be clear on wat the R rate is in our specific area.

Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “This is a useful way of checking how our school is fitting into the local and national picture. In recent weeks the local rate has doubled, but the cases we have come across in local families have been such that we’ve been able to isolate, contain and prevent any partial closure. The more all of us aware of the local risks, the genuine symptoms, and the responsibilities that come with them, the more likely we can keep our school open and our families can go to work unhindered by home learning.”
