Information for Y6 parents and students applying for September 2021
Usually at this time of year, we would be opening our doors to you and welcoming you in for an opportunity to see our school, meet our teachers and pupils and experience a little bit of life at The Friary. Our Open Evening is one of the highlights of our year and we are as disappointed as you that we are unable meet in person and share our enthusiasm with you.
This year we have taken the time to put together a range of online videos and resources to help you get to know a little bit more about our school. We hope that we have captured what it is like to be a part of The Friary School and that you are able to gain some insight into some the subjects we offer.
In addition to this, our website is updated throughout the week with current news articles about our school and is a great source of information about the day to day running of the school. All of the links below will be available for you to browse at your leisure whilst you consider your application.

Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “We believe we are a different school to the norm and whilst our expectations are high we also do not forget that we work with children who are well-entitled to be just that. We hope that you find the information provided useful and look forward to being able to meet you all in person later in the year.
