Our Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme received praise at the end of term from Jackie Bull, the DoE Director for Central England, for our local community work over the last year.

The Duke of Edinburgh team have totted up that on their scheme alone, our students committed to 429 hours of voluntary service to the local community which had a social value of £1,866.

Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “We are very proud of our Duke of Edinburgh Scheme and were thrilled to receive this acknowledgement. We are hopeful that the scheme can run next school year as students get such a lot out of it and we are already making plans to adapt our provision to ensure we can operate safely.”
