Our school was delighted to support Staffordshire County Council by handing over our facilities to support a food provision programme for vulnerable families and individuals living in our local area.

During the lockdown, we opened up our Sports Hall for food storage, packing chains, and then welcomed delivery vehicles on site to ensure we could do our bit for our community.

Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “The SCC staff were fantastic – with many of them stepping out of their usual roles to co-ordinate community schemes – and we were just pleased to be able to help. We are now working with local NHS teams to support in a similar way with vaccination schemes.”
