The Y9 netball team competed in the local Lichfield and Cannock District Tournament tonight and came third overall out of a field of ten.

There were victories against Chase Terrace, Kingsmead and Cannock Chase High School but a semi-final defeat saw the team fall in the knock-out stages.

Trudy Simkiss, PE teacher and team coach, said: “All of the girls were amazing representatives of the school and made the school very proud. Big well done to all involved.”
