The latest round of Co-Op mentoring is just beginning. This sees professionals from the various departments within the Co-Op organisation coming onto school to work with targeted Year 10 students.

The scheme, which is in its second year, focuses on developing students’ career plans, aspirations and study skills. It runs for 8 weeks.

The programme was highly rated by last year’s participants who overwhelmingly said the scheme was beneficial and they recommended it to others.

Mark Drury, Assistant Headteacher, said: “The programme has already run with previous groups and is proving to be a welcome and popular support. We are delighted to have Hannah Gallimore and her team back in school and the students are fully on board too.”
