The school shows create great excitement across the school and no sooner had we got over ‘Wind in the Willows’, when Harriet Bates, Drama Teacher and KS3 Show Director, led the grand reveal for the Key Stage Three Show for Summer 2020.
The Year 7-9 students will be performing ‘Mary Poppins’ across three nights in June 2020.
The auditions will be taking place towards the end of the Spring Term and staff are already on the look-out for a Mary Poppins, a Bert (Dick Van Dyke), a Jane Banks, and a Michael Banks.
Ian Rose, Deputy Headteacher, said: “Of course, I can remember the original film coming out, but I also loved the 2018 re-make, so can’t wait to see our students in ‘Mary Poppins’. There is no doubt this will be a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious show!”
