Members of our choir dropped in at The George Hotel, a long-standing supporter of our school, to sing Christmas carols at the bi-annual ‘We Love Lichfield’ presentation event.
‘We Love Lichfield’ is a local fund that provides small grants to a wide range of projects based in Lichfield District. The fund considers all applications from local groups in need twice a year and all money is invested through a permanent endowment fund by registered charity The Community Foundation For Staffordshire on behalf of ‘We Love Lichfield’.
Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “We are proud to work with ‘We Love Lichfield’ as their support for local ventures and charities dovetails with the approach our students have chosen via their House charities. We encourage all of our students to invest in their local community and it was lovely to be involved in this event.”
