After the success of last year’s Halloween, Friary staff launched into their second ‘flash-mob’ fancy dress day based on the Christmas spirit.
Huge numbers of staff got involved and outfits ranged from elves to Scrooge, snow queens to Xmas game-show hosts, Christmas trees to fairies, and reindeers to Jon Snow!
Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “At Year 7 Open Evenings we promise that we want children to go home at least each week and say ‘You’ll never guess what happened today !’ – and this is a big ask for teenagers. This was this week’s effort and though keeping it secret is a bit of a job, it is well worth seeing the shock on their faces when they come in.”
