Our girls football programme saw the first competitive action this season with our Year 8 6-a-sIde team playing some great football in some freezing conditions.
In a local competition the girls came third in their group and performed excellently throughout the matches.
The goals were shared between Poppy Grimshaw (x2), Stella Barrow, Tia Walker and Brooke Matthews.
Jamie Sleigh, team coach, said: “The girls were fantastic throughout and represented the school superbly.”
