Despite a cold wintry night the girls battled in a friendly hockey tournament hosted by EDA.
The Friary played against Cathedral, EDA, King Edwards and Chase Grammar with a score sheet of four draws and one loss.
The majority of goals came from Poppy Grimshaw and Gabriella Cole-Pearce which came from some precise team work and passing.
Ms Fallows, Head Coach, said: “Amongst some fine performances, Poppy Grimshaw was awarded player of tournament for her sheer determination and tactical awareness of what was expected of her.”
