The Friary Year 7 Football team had their third game of the season and came up against Chase Terrace.

An excellent start to the game saw The Friary 2-0 up in the first 15 minutes thanks to goals from Evan Wynne and Oliver Mantle.

The teamwork showed throughout the whole of the first half from The Friary boys was superb and saw them lead 3-0 at the break.

It was a great opportunity for the team to get their first clean sheet which they did following to great saves from goalkeeper Billy Barlow and good defensive performances throughout.

Not to be outdone, the attackers continued their excellent goal scoring form – with Evan Wynne completing his hat-trick and Oliver Mantle adding his second – and the team ran out worthy 5-0 winners
