Our Student Librarians travelled to Peters Booksellers in Birmingham to spend the generous parental donations through our ‘Support Your School’ fundraising scheme.
The Student Librarians work in the library each day, help run things and work with their fellow students on homework, etc. Those on the trip included: Meg Mathias (7D2), Emily Beddow (8G2), Isaac Brodie (8D1), Gabi Davies-Friend (8S2), Eleanor Easton (8S2), Lily Kennedy (8D2), Lucy Manning (8G2), Amelie Menaut (8J2), Abbie Pendlebury (8J2), Freya Short (8J2), Lily Sperryn (8G2) and Rhian Price (9G2)
The students were able to purchase 43 fiction titles for the library and this included:

The students thoroughly enjoyed the shopping expedition with feedback including: “The visit was educational and enjoyable with much value” and “I enjoyed looking through the large selection of books and can’t wait to read them”.
