As part of our on-going partnership through our Interact Club with the Lichfield St Chad Rotary, Friary Sixth Form students volunteered to support the annual ‘Cars in the Park’ event in Lichfield.
The event sees a wide range of classic and vintage cars, as well as commercial, military, PSV and motorcycle vehicles and is a popular event with the local community.
Our students were involved in manning stalls, running getting involved in the face-painting and generally helping out.
Carrie Cain, Assistant Headteacher, attended the event and said: “Our Sixth Formers have built strong ties with the Rotary and so supporting this event was something they were keen to get involved in. It was a fantastic weekend and we were delighted to be involved.”
