We have finalised our uniform changes and re-enforcement of existing expectations for September 2019 and all Year 7-10 parents will be receiving a letter over the next couple of days to outline how these alterations affect their child.
The changes relate to a new school skirt and tie and there will be support offered to current female students with the initial expense. The other focus relates to eliminating lapses that have crept in with a small minority of students and families.
We have also retained our commitment to ensure a large proportion of the uniform can be purchase from general suppliers.
Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “We have not made these changes lightly and firmly believe they will help to raise standards in the school. We appreciate that all changes can breed concern and will work with parents to ensure expectations are clear for the new school year.”
