The U13 girls fought their way through ‘Storm Gareth’ last week and took on King Edwards in a friendly 7-aside match fielding two teams due to such high interest in girl’s hockey at The Friary.
Both teams saw winning results with Elena Hill and Isobel Allman scoring the goals for their team. Their successes were complemented by Chloe Butler and Felicity Stephenson making their debut in the upper year group squad.
With the hockey season drawing to a close, Kim Fallows, team coach, said: “The girls have been fantastic this year, whether it be in training or matches, and I am looking forward to seeing them continue to progress next season.”
