St Stephens Primary School dropped in this week to work with the Science Department to support their transition to secondary school and to experience working in a science laboratory.
The students worked on a ‘Mission to Mars’ project that involved them working in pairs and teams to make mini mars rovers out of Lego for planet exploration and to build rockets for take-off and landing.
Lottie Hearn, Assistant Headteacher, said: “The St Stephen’s students were fantastic – enthusiasm, bubbly and focused. We really enjoyed working with them and it will be wonderful to see many of the face again in years to come. First The Friary, end destination NASA”
