The Geography Department have paired up with the Burton based charity, ‘Humanity Unites’, who provide support for homeless people and families.
They have taken an environmental approach as the charity is collecting crisps packets which can be recycled and raise money of the project.
Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “Our students have already picked local House charities but the opportunity to support this initiative through the simple collection of crisp packets was too straight-forward to turn down. Homelessness is a problem we see so regularly and any contribution to funds or awareness that we as a school can make is well worthwhile.”
