Our Saturday School programme began as far back as October but as we enter the final PPE (mock) season and head towards the Summer exams then Saturday School will be a weekly occurrence.
The sessions over the next few weeks will very much target those subjects with mock / PPE exams this term, as well as for coursework catch up and vocational exams as and when. Naturally, this applies to both GCSE and A-Levels as well as our suite of excellent vocational qualifications.
Our initial Saturday School this term took place last weekend and saw a huge turn-out of Year 11 Health & Social Care students who were into their final preparations for their final exam which is this week.
Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “We are blessed with a staff who go above and beyond in their support for our students, and a student body which sees the overwhelming majority keen to do well and ready to sacrifice their Saturday mornings for the intensive support that our Saturday School offers. Every year is a tough challenge when it comes to exam results, but we continue to leave no stone unturned in our pursuit of success for every child.”
