Children from Chadsmead Primary School dropped into The Friary last week in their Christmas jumpers to work with the RE Department on the real meaning of Christmas.

The session involved brainstorming over desks to identify key themes, discussion, and Q&A before Christmas decorations were designed that included a written expression of Christmas by each of the individual students.

Kelly Harrell, Head of RE, said: “The Chadsmead students were full of energy and life and came up with some excellent ideas. It was fantastic to work with them and to listen to their thoughts and opinions as we head into the Christmas Break.”
