We are pleased to announce that we are working with Mercia Juniors Football Club to provide a firm bases for their club but also to improve school facilities as we work in partnership over (at least) the next year.
The football club are now based in our pavilion, have helped bring a buzz to the weekends with their training and fixtures, and have already launched into a renovation project to upgrade facilities.
Wendy Bennett, School Business Manager, said: “We are delighted to be working with another local sports club and retain our focus on supporting local organisations which provide opportunities for Friary students and other young people. We have been impressed by the commitment of the Mercia Juniors team and hope this relationship can roll forward into future years.”
