We have been inundated with requests to see the video production from last night’s Open Evening which gives an idea of what it is like to come to our school from the arrival at the front gates in Year 7 to the opening the brown envelopes containing the exam results in Year 11 and Year 13.
The video was part of the Headteacher’s presentation and was made up of stills from the school year and quotations from current Friary students on what they love about the school.
Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “Watching the video brought a tear or two to our eyes as bringing together the fun, excitement and learning of a school year, in the faces of students we care so much for, really hit home. When you know the stories, the challenges and the steps that our students take as they make their way through the school, it is impossible not to burst with pride. We are thrilled that the presentation resonated with so many children and parents.”
