Students took part in a World Cup Writing Competition which saw them compete in writing a match report on the England v Panama.
There were a high number of entries that showed a love of football, alongside genuine skills in extended writing, and so judging the entries was a tough ask.
The final decision saw Will Wilson (Y7) take first place, winning the World Cup Football, and Oscar Brookes (Y7) came a close second.
Jason Cain, Assistant Headteacher, said: “The level and quality of entries was fantastic and it as a pleasure to read them.”
