Aimee Hanson (Y11) has taken part in the National Youth Orchestra’s project entitled ‘Tuning into Change’ and played her in contributing to the ‘Tuning into Change Manifesto’ which is a timely, passionate statement about the essential role of the arts in transforming society.

The orchestra performed at the Barbican in London under the renowned conductor Gustavo Dudamel.

Matt Allman, Headteacher, said:: “We are always happy to provide bespoke support for our ‘elite performers’ who perform in the arts and sports at a national level and Aimee certainly more than matches up to this high benchmark. We are delighted in her on-going success with the NYO and look forward to hearing about future projects as she progresses further.”
